supplements. |

sporogenes, Lactobacillus salivarius,
and Lactobacillus plantarum. |
|

|
Listed Benefits and Studies |
The
company claims that TruFlora can work to
prevent infections caused by Candida by
inhibiting the growth of this yeast in
the body. The manufacturer also insists
that TruFlora can be used to prevent and
treat traveler’s diarrhea by defending
the body against undesirable bacteria
found in contaminated food and water.
The company also says that by taking one
capsule of TruFlor every two hours after
exposure, individuals may reduce
illnesses caused by food poisoning. Up
to twelve capsules may be taken in two
days and then two capsules should be
taken daily for the next ten days to
help ameliorate symptoms caused by
contaminated foods. |
|
Method of Delivery |
The
bacterial strains in TruFlora are
encapsulated using sodium alginate which
protects their beneficial qualities as
they pass through the acidic environment
of the stomach. In this way, the
probiotics and enzymes make it through
to the intestinal tract, where they most
needed, intact. TruFlora is sold in
bottles of thirty-two capsules. |

ingredients included in TruFlora,
besides the probiotic cultures, are
