|
Product Overview |
Red Mango is a new distributor for low
fat frozen yogurts and probiotic teas.
Red Mango yogurt is slightly tangy and
meets the criteria of the National
Yogurt Association for containing live
and active cultures. It is also
certified as gluten free. According to
the manufacturer, Red Mango Probiotic
Teas offer all of the healthy
antioxidant benefits usually found in
teas, as well as probiotic properties.
These products use kosher ingredients
and are gluten free. |
|
Manufacturer |
YoCream
International, Inc. is the parent
company responsible for the production
of Red Mango products. |
|
Probiotic Strain(s) |
Every flavor of Red Mango yogurt
contains these probiotic cultures: S.

Tangomonium, and Pumpkin Spice varieties
have Bacillus Coagulans. The Red Mango
probiotic teas contain only Bacillus
Coagulans. |
|
Colony Forming Units (CFU) |
The company does not print this
information on its website but in order
to be considered a yogurt, Red Mango
must contain at least ten million colony
forming units per gram. |
|
Listed Benefits and Studies |
Because it
is all-natural and contains live active
cultures, Red Mango bills itself as pure
and wholesome. The probiotic benefits of
yogurt include a strengthened immune
system and improved digestion. Yogurt
also delivers a healthy bonus of calcium
which is good for bone formation. Red
Mango has been given the stamp of
approval by AKApproved, certifying it as
a healthy food choice. Several studies
have shown that Bacillus Coagulans is
beneficial in the treatment of irritable
bowel syndrome to relieve pain and
bloating.
