Method of Delivery |
No there
are no animal products in Florastor. The
HPMC capsule is a vegetarian capsule
that contains freeze dried
Saccharomyces boulardii lyo. |

Inactive Ingredients |
2.85 mg
magnesium stearate,
hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, titanium
dioxide. 33 mg of Lactose is included
in each
dose.

Directions |
Suggested
Use: 1 capsule in the morning, 1 capsule
in the evening. Swallow capsule whole
or mix contents of capsule with water,
apple juice or other noncarbonated
drinks. Capsule contents can also be
added to apple sauce and other soft
foods. |

Precautions |
No side
effects have been reported except a few
cases of fungemia when administered in
hospitals to patients with central
venous catheters. There are no milk
proteins found in Florastor. However, it
does contain lactose monohydrate in a
very small amount. Many lactose.
According to Florastor, dairy sensitive
patients have reported good results
while taking the product. As with any
product, be sure to consult your health
care professional first. Florastor has
been studied in recurring yeast
infections (Candida) and has shown to be
60-70% effective. The yeast that most
people develop allergies to is
pathogenic yeast. Saccharomyces
boulardii lyo is non-pathogenic
